Robert P. Morse
Chairman and President
Senior Portfolio Manager |
|
Robert P. Morse has over 38 years of investment experience with an extensive background in equity portfolio management in domestic and international markets for institutions and high net-worth clients. He also serves as partner and senior manager of the Fund's investment adviser. Prior to establishing his own investment management firm in 1981, Mr. Morse was a senior principal and portfolio manager of the investment counseling firm of William G. Campbell & Company. He also served as vice president and manager of the bond department of American Express W. H. Morton Company. Prior positions included: managing director of the American Express Eurobond operations in Paris; director of the American Express International Development Corporation in London; and advisor to the Zurich-based International Trust Division of Amex International Bank. He was also a principal of Hambrecht and Quist for seven years and an advisory director of Soundview Financial.
He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy and
currently serves as a trustee or director on various
non-profit boards. He graduated from the Wharton School
of the University of Pennsylvania (1967) and completed
post-graduate studies in Advanced Currency Theory at
Dowling College, Adelphi-Suffolk University (1970).

Timothy Evnin

Timothy Evnin has over 20 years experience managing
balanced portfolios for high net-worth clients, equity
accounts for institutional clients, and equity mutual
funds. Mr. Evnin also serves as partner and trader/analyst for the Fund's investment adviser. Tim was previously a managing director at U.S.
Trust, and, following Bank of America's acquisition of
U.S. Trust, a Senior Equity Portfolio Manager with
Columbia Management, where his group managed over $14
billion in assets. He is the President of the Mianus
River Gorge Preserve and on the board of the Blythedale
Children's Hospital in Valhalla, New York. Mr. Evnin
received his BA from Princeton University in 1987 and an
MBA from Columbia University in 1999.

Charles Ryan

Charles Ryan has over 20 years experience managing equity portfolios for high net worth clients and equity mutual funds. Mr. Ryan is a partner of the Fund’s investment adviser where he is an Equity Portfolio Manager responsible for overall asset allocation for clients, and a member of the Equity Selection Committee. Charlie was previously a Managing Director and a Market Investment Executive for U.S. Trust, a portfolio manager in the Growth Equity Strategy Group at U.S. Trust and a member of the division's Investment Policy Committee. Prior to that, he was with BNY Asset Management, the institutional investment arm of The Bank of New York, where he was Head of the Equity Division. Charlie was the co-manager of the bank's largest mutual fund, The Hamilton Equity Income Fund. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, a member of the Board of Trustees for The Rumson Country Day School, in Rumson N.J. and a member of the Board of Visitors for Worcester Academy in Worcester MA. Mr. Ryan earned his B.A. from Villanova University in 1989.

Michael R. Linburn

Michael R.
Linburn has over 30 years of marketing and new business
experience, having served as a senior marketing officer
and consultant for several companies, including The
Balcor Company, Angeles Corporation and The National
Housing Partnership. In addition to new business, he is
in charge of compliance. Prior thereto he spent 15 years
in corporate finance with Shearson, Hammill & Co.,
Incorporated, where as a first vice president and voting
stockholder he analyzed, structured and marketed debt
and equity offerings. He later moved to Oppenheimer
Properties, specializing in sale and leaseback
transactions. He served as an officer in the United
States Army and currently serves as Treasurer of the
Church of the Incarnation in New York, NY. He received a
BS degree in Industrial Administration from Yale
University in 1954 and an MBA degree from the Harvard
Business School in 1959.

Jian H. Wang
Executive Vice President and Treasurer |

Jian H. Wang has been the head trader for the Fund for over 16 years. Prior thereto he
worked for two years in the options market, trading for
various investors. A native of China, he worked
initially in sales for Siemens PC Division in Shanghai;
subsequently he became an assistant to the director of
the Mechanical Engineering Department of Tung-Ji
University in Shanghai. He graduated from Long Island
University in 1991 and earned an MBA degree in Finance
from the New York Institute of Technology in 1995.
